Helen embarks on a passionate affair with a man who has no idea of her secret identity. Caught in the crosshairs when her lover falls victim to London’s dangerous underworld, Helen’s employer calls Sam to protect her. Just go in with no expectations
Comparing it to Slow Horses is not entirely fair because that show is amazing. I just binge-watched it for fun because I love Ben Whishaw. Yes, it’s overly implausible and plot holes abound.
My DH said it was grating and couldn’t get past the Slow Horses comparison
Given that Slow Horses season 5 won’t be out for months, this is a decent substitute. The trick is to not think too much about it and get your popcorn ready. I liked the chemistry between Knightley and Whishaw, and that was enough to keep me interested.
He was definitely disappointed (lol)
