A robot together
Tale
After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot named Roz gets stuck on an uninhabited island. In order to survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and takes care of an orphaned gosling. Lupita Nyong’o and writer-director Chris Sanders talk about notable works and their time making The Wild.
He then asked the question “What would an intelligent robot do in the wilderness?”
According to author Peter Brown, the inspiration for “The Wild Robot” came from a sketch he made of a robot in a tree. When the fox enters the cabin, the moose near the doorway grunts, but the sound effect is a recorded bear. Roz: [from the trailer] Sometimes to survive you have to become more than you were programmed to be.

by the second act I was in awe of where this story arc was taking the audience, and by the third act I had salty water in my eyes."The Wild Robot" will make you laugh, cry and sigh! Celebrity Voiceovers: Lupita Nyong’o, Catherine O’Hara (“Beetlejuice” she’s so hot right now), Bill Nighy, Matt Berry (“Toast of London”), Ving Rhames, Mark Hamill, Pedro Pascal and many others do an amazing job of breathing life into this script, supported by the lush island atmosphere and wonderful creatures that inhabit it. Director Chris Sanders’ obsession with the animated "Lilo and Stitch" For "The Croods" has paid dividends in “The Wild Robot.” This movie shows us that sometimes to survive you have to become more than you were programmed to be.
