Tale
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; discover if their relationship can survive their wildly different lives and family meddling. Its original title was “Shiksa”, which is also the last word of the first episode. I really enjoy this series, it takes me back to the singles and dating days and puts a smile on my face. It touches on very relatable and relevant topics (about dating and dating culture), in such a realistic matter, and all refreshingly unproblematic, the way it should be, honest dialogue, no games. Their chemistry is so sweet (Of course it helps that they’re both seasoned, skilled actors individually) and it’s a beautiful watch that brings back those nostalgic feelings. Kristen Bell, I’ve been following you since I saw Veronica Mars as a young girl. And Adam Brody, my husband, looked at the TV and said, he hasn’t changed since The O.C., he’s right.
