When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to join the series, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and was going to audition with people like Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they had to at least bring it up to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was being brought in for the project, which sparked interest from other notable actors. Eventually, Goldstein spoke with Ford and sold him on the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but was excited nonetheless.
This show is a blast!!
There’s a lot of character growth in the first and second episodes, the jokes are perfectly timed and executed, and the entire cast does a great job! This is one of the best episodes of Piolet I’ve seen in a long time! Harrison Ford does an incredible job in his supporting role and Jason Segal does a wonderful job playing the flawed, damaged character trying to be a better person and father.
This is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while!
This show made me laugh like I haven’t in a long time. As a psychology student, this show is hilarious, and as a theater student, I can appreciate the fluidity of the script. I can’t understand the negative reviews because this is already one of my favorite shows after only two episodes.
