So why do we love the Pallas G i-Size? 40% REDUCTION IN NECK INJURIES The Advanced Impact Shield reduces the risk of neck injuries in a frontal collision, with superior performance compared to a harness system. In a head-on collision the child rolls forward over the impact shield which acts in a similar way to an airbag, with impact force distributed across its large surface area. This reduces strain on the vulnerable neck and protects the child’s head. MORE THAN 10 YEARS OF USABILITY This 2-in-1 seat grows with your little one throughout their childhood—from toddler 76cm (15 months) to a pre-teen 50kg (approx. 12 years). Initially your child is protected by an impact shield which can then be removed when they reach 21 kg. When the impact shield is removed and the seat is secured by the vehicle seatbelt and ISOFIX like an ordinary high back booster seat. SECURES YOUR CHILD IN SECONDS This new impact shield features a convenient buckle system, on either side of the shield, so no more leaning over your child or struggling with seatbelts, simply release and refasten the buckle on the door side of the car. The impact shield’s adjustable fit also ensures your little one will be comfortable as they grow, which is really important with a car seat that can be used for over 10 years. Research shows that impact shields have a significantly lower user error rate than harness systems meaning less stress when putting your child in the seat. PATENTED RECLINING HEADREST Most children tend to nod off on long, or even short car journeys. The patented 3-position Reclining Headrest helps prevent the child’s head from tipping forward while sleeping. This smart feature also helps to ensure your child’s head remains in the safety zone of the car seat, allowing it to provide optimum safety especially in the event of a side-impact. SUPERIOR INTEGRATED SIDE-IMPACT PROTECTION The Linear Side-impact Protection System Plus of the Pallas G i-Size reduces the impact forces of a side-impact collision by more than 20% when compared to the same car seat without an L.S.P. System. The L.S.P can be removed from the side of the car seat facing the middle of the car to make room for additional car seats or a passenger. RECLINING SEAT The three recline settings also help you find the perfect position to help your child relax and fall asleep.
