After being released from prison after 25 years, New York Mafia captain Dwight "The General" Manfredi is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma..

The opening credit sequence shows various photographic and painted vistas as well as landmarks of Oklahoma imposed upon New York City landscape: A Statue of The Sioux Indian Chief "Touch the Clouds" wearing a War Bonnet and a Bone Choker necklace (breastplate) imposed on top of the Brooklyn BridgeGolden Driller Statue imposed on the Statue of LibertyRoute 66 Western Gateway Arch imposed on a Major Manhattan "Avenue".

I've always liked Stallone, over the years, yes he's sequel addicted but he's made some really enjoyable films scattering a few classics along the way.
In Tulsa King could very well be his best work just from an acting perspective, he's just stone cold nailing the role of a mafia capo
The series itself has an interesting story, it's well written taking full advantage of the humor of a New York mobster in Tulsa Oklahoma without becoming silly at all, throwing in a healthy dose of violence, good writing and dialogue, and a great cast of supporting actors and characters and they have a winner.
Fun to watch, well worth a look
